01. The Work
G Sunshine Hearing clinic were seeking to spread health and social awareness through digital mediums. That way, a larger portion of the urban as well as the rural population, could connect to their products, services and doctors.

01. The Process
The rural population of Northern New South Wales and Gold Coast regions is still not much acquainted with today’s smart devices. On the other hand, their awareness of health and social causes is also the least. Hence, the design department of Gecko Media took extra care in maintaining the utmost level of simplicity and ease of access. Once an uncomplicated design was developed, the development phase took place and the core features including service and product place, text and video were added. After continuous testing phases, the website was shielded with the highest measures of security, to protect clinic and patient data.
01. The Challenge
Turning many brands into one takes a lot more than a just a refreshed visual identity. Services have to be rethought, systems have to be integrated, and the important bits of each company need to survive the jump. Doing so takes a little bit of everything: ambition, restraint, strategy, and creativity.
02. The Approach
There were more than a few moving parts to think about in the transformation off Sunshine Hearing. To tackle them all, Gecko Media needed to be nimble enough to keep up with the quick moves typical of a brand’s first days, but also ready to execute with conviction.
From visual identity, to back end development, to a new applicant-tracking API, Gecko Media brought the pieces together to create an engaging face for an exciting new brand enhancement.
03. Starting Smart
The stakes for the new site launch were high. Moving without a plan simply wasn’t an option. Our team created a website strategy to lay the foundation for all our digital efforts, including new content, points of conversion, and conversion funnels.
04. Delivering on the New Brand
It was our job to bring the new, united Sunshine Hearing brand to life in digital. Our designers’ vision for the Sunshine Hearing website uses the new brand color, a bright orange, to generate a sense of boldness and energy without overwhelming the user.
05. Integrating for Success
The Sunshine Hearing website demanded significant back-end effort beyond just website development. Not only did our team build a new, single hub for patient recruiting, they also enabled, tested, and validated several third-party connectors, including Health Engine, and popular social media platforms.
06. Result
As Coolangatta’s only fully integrated Hearing solution clinic, Sunshine Hearing enjoys a leading position in an important industry space. Thanks to the efforts of the Gecko Media team, the company was able to enter that space with a strong online presence, setting the up for future success.
